Student Educator Program
Without our Student Educators, the Training Outreach Program wouldn’t be possible! Student Educators are undergraduate and graduate student volunteers who facilitate Training Outreach Program sessions. Being a student educator is an excellent way to improve your skill in communicating about social justice issues, while helping to bring systemic change to IU’s offices, clubs, and other organizations.
Student Educators are expected to have some background knowledge about the LGBTQ+ community, but will also receive specialized training in facilitation as well as specific LGBTQ+ issues. This is a selective position and not everyone who applies will be chosen.
We have reopened our Student Educator application for the fall 2022 semester! We are recruiting one Student Educator and the application will be open until October 16th, 2022. If you have any questions about the application process, please contact Katelyn King, Training Programs Coordinator.
