Katelyn King is an undergraduate Student Assistant at the Center, where she manages the Public Training Series and the Training Outreach Program, as well as the Discord server. She is passionate about LGBTQ+ education and believes that much of society’s discrimination and stigma is based in lack of exposure and fear of the unknown. As a result, she works to bring LGBTQ+ issues to the minds of those who have not yet considered them deeply.

In addition to her role at the Center, she is the Director of Advocacy for Queer Student Union. She is a senior majoring in Management at the School of Public & Environmental Affairs, with minors in Gender Studies, Psychology, and Human Resources. She intends to pursue a Master's in Higher Education after graduation. Her hobbies include video editing and vegetarian cooking, and she is conversational in Japanese.
