Mary Beth graduated from IU in 2011 with a BA in Theatre and Drama. Her IU career started as a student worker in the Herman B. Wells Library, and later she joined the Maurer School of Law, first as a faculty assistant and then the Admissions office coordinator. In 2019 she transferred to the LGBTQ+ Culture Center to assume the role of office manager, which keeps her happily engaged with all things LGBTQ+. In addition to taking care of administrative and clerical work for the Center, Mary Beth is also delighted to lead this year's INTERSECTIONS series, where IU students and alumni gather to share their stories and discuss various aspects of queer identity.

Fun fact: Mary Beth loves to bake beautiful and tasty treats, and depending on the day, if you swing by the Center, you might have a chance to nab one of her cookies or cupcakes for yourself. She can also comfortably reach every note sung in Bohemian Rhapsody, though that may be less a fact than a cautionary tale.
