Michael Block received their Undergraduate Degree in Psychology at Indiana University and is currently pursuing their Master’s Degree in Social Work. They will be serving as an MSW Intern at the IU LGBTQ+ Culture Center during Academic Year 2021-2022. Michael is extremely passionate about advocating and supporting queer individuals both at IU and in the community – currently serving on the Board of Directors of Bloomington PRIDE. Michael’s work within queer spaces is driven by a commitment to individual empowerment, diverse and intersectional perspectives, community engagement, and the necessary cultivation of queer joy.
